Depending on the type of Supplier, certain documents must be uploaded during the referencing process:
 
  • If the Supplier has its own production site 

​Supplier must upload on supplier portal those 2 folowing documents :

  1. A social audit of the production site which is valid and acceptable with reference to the table below:    
  Acceptable result for Damart Validity period of the audit
ICS +75% AB 2 years
+75% CD 1 year
BSCI (semi or not announced audit) A, B 2 years
C 1 year
Other social audits  (semi or not announced audit) Depending on the study of the report by Damart 2 years
                       
No referencing request will be accepted if the working hours chapter is showing no respect of the local working hours law.

If the Supplier is not able to provide this type of audit, Damart may call upon an external auditor to carry out an ICS audit A116. This will be billed to the Supplier. Further information can be obtained from: http://www.ics-asso.org/index.php?id=2
 
2. A third party liability insurance certificate in the name of the Supplier listing the insured activities and amounts guaranteed..
 
  • If the Supplier is a trader/importer:
He must upload on supplier portal those 2 following documents :
 
  1. The elements or internal processes which confirm its responsible purchasing procedure with its Suppliers (e.g.: progress made in its CSR policy, existence of a compliance manager position, certifications, etc.). The Supplier must complete the online self-evaluation questionnaire and provide all the documents required by Damart in this context.
  2. A third party liability insurance certificate in the name of the Supplier listing the insured activities and amounts guaranteed.
